Polaris CEO to park his Harley.
W. Hall Wendel, Jr. CEO of Polaris Industries, plans to park his Harley this spring when Polaris, the world's leading snowmobile make, enters the motorcycle market with their cruiser, the Victory.
The Victory will join HD as the second U.S.
headquartered mass production motorcycle
manufacturer. The bike is said to sell for
$13,000.00. Harley now controls about half
of the heavy cruiser market, "cruiserweight."
Observers feel that Polaris's strong dealer
network for their personal water craft will
make them a formidable competitor.
